How Do I Set Up Different Daily Budgets For Facebook Ads?

Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answers the questions in two minutes. The question for today is how do I set up a schedule for different daily budgets for different days of the week for Facebook ads and what would be the effect of my campaign? for what they're asking here essentially is they have these three assets, for example, as you can see, your kind of already built it out where I have money through Wednesday for this first ad set Thursday through Friday for a second asset, and then the weekend for the third ad set.
So essentially what they're asking here is that we had three different assets. How do I turn them on and turn them off throughout the week, paying on what days I want them to run alongside a $5 budget a day?
So, to start off with this question, it's a two-part question, but I'm gonna try to answer it in one video.
So, the first thing is that you want to make sure that you are on that $5 a day. So, make sure that you are not running a CDO strategy as this will throw off your whole entire daily spend now to make sure that you're spending $5 a day per ad set.
For example, go ahead and go to the, go to your ad set level, scroll down to budget and schedule and make sure that this is $5.
And also, if you wanna send an end date as well, then you can too. So now to make it turn on and turn off at different times of the week will not be on any of the campaign assets or even the ad level.
It'll actually be, what's called a rule. As you see right here, it's a rule. So now a rule essentially is a rule telling Facebook ads what to do.
So for this example, I'm going to stick with this Monday through Wednesday, ad set, and support to have it checked off that way.
It's easier for you to keep track of what you're doing. So, for example, I have money though, was it checked off?
As you can see here, apply the rule to one asset that is checked off here. So, my rule name will be Monday through Wednesday for this, for this example.
Now my action is, for example, I want to have it turned on Monday through Wednesday. So, my action will be turned on asset condition.
Think of this as a trigger. I don't need any triggers for this one because I'm not trying to have notify me or do an action based on certain audit results I get.
So, I'm going to go and just cancel this off. Since all I'm doing is just a timing rule, not a condition rule.
I'm going to go down to schedule and go to custom. Now here's where you can go ahead and create this rule to turn all your assets on are the ones that you want to have turned on.
So here I'm going to have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 12 to 12. So now I know that for this action, isn't turned on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and then it can also notify me if I like it or anyone else, I want to make sure to get notified as well.
So from your oppressor, create now make sure that you're not done here because now what you're telling Facebook to do that you have turned it on, but now you have to turn it off, right?
So that also has to be a whole other rule you have to create by doing the same thing, going to create a new rule.
But this time you'll go to turn it off that set on the days that you do not want to be running.

How Do I Do The Candidate Disclaimer Correctly, When Making Political Ads On Facebook?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps where we try to answer commonly asked questions in under two minutes. The question we're going to answer today is how do I do the candidate disclaimer correctly when making political ads on Facebook?
So the best way to do the disclaimer is to have separate disclaimers for every candidate. So you only need one disclaimer per candidate, but I would highly recommend having separate ones.
Also, another thing that I would like to know is to have the candidate create an ad account and send you a request to manage it.
So to do that, you're going to go to the business settings. The candidate will go to business settings at the bottom left and go to ad accounts.
And what's going to happen is the ad account is going to show for the candidate. Now click on assign partners and get the link to share.
What's going to happen is this screen is going to pop up, have the candidate click on the top option, which will then enable all the other options.
Actually, I'm sorry. Have the candidate click on the bottom option for full control, which then will unlock all the options.
Copy this link of the candidate. Copy this link and give you this link. Once you receive this link, you'll be able to create the disclaimer for the candidate and again, one disclaimer, per candidate.

How Do I Configure The ROAS Of My Website Correctly?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help we trying to answer commonly asked questions and under two minutes, the customer we're going to answer today is how do I configure the ROAS of my website correctly?
So let's say you've configured your pixel and you're having issues with recording, your row as, and it's just something that seems off.
So what would you do? How would you compare the analytics and then what would the steps be to trying to solve this?
So let me first start off with a little bit of a passion or a warning, or, you know, whatever you'd like to call it.
Facebook doesn't register about 30% of purchases. Okay. I've noticed that in my experience of being in commerce, that some purchases do not register.
So keep that in mind when using this platform specifically, now, I haven't had that issue with any other platform. Facebook seems to have a little bit of a misfire.
So how do we compare? So what you're going to want to do is, first of all, go to your ads manager, by going to business.facebook.com and going through your ads manager, by going to the top left business tools and going to ad manager at the top.
Now you're going to see something here that says columns, go ahead and click columns and click customize columns. There's going to be a few columns that you're going to want to add, to compare the stats to first, you're going to want to add a row as, so go ahead and do total row as and add that one.
Okay. Apply. And it will pop up on your dashboard. Let's just do it right here so you can see boom rules then the next one you're going to want to do is purchases.
Okay. So purchases right there and then do total purchases. So now you can see, okay, what is your ROAS and what are your purchases on the Facebook platform?
You're going to need to pull up your analytics for your store. Now Shopify makes it very easy. Every website dashboard will be different, but they will all have an analytics section that should record the day-to-day statistics.
Please compare these statistics to the one on Facebook. Most of the time, if you are doing a decent amount of volume, there will always be a small discrepancy.
Okay. But if there is a big, big, big discrepancy, first of all, I highly recommend you creating a new pixel.
So go to your business settings at the bottom left, go to pixels ad and create a new pixel. If you are still having problems, okay, there's a help section for Facebook.
I highly recommend you contacting their help section further because it really shouldn't be a massive discrepancy. And if there is something that is not being configured correctly, because once you add your pixel to your website, it should automatically pick up the purchase value and row as with about a 20 to 30% misfire.

Shortcut To Grab Images From Your Page And Use Them For Ads.

So let's say that you have a really good image. You want to use what you posted on your Facebook page or Instagram page last week.
So instead of trying to download it and then upload it to your Facebook ads manager, and then you said there was a quick little way you can go ahead and do it.
So as you can see, I'm on the ad level of my campaign. I'm in the ad creative section. If you scroll down a little bit, and then I'm gonna go ahead and go and go-to media, go to add image or add a video.
So as you can see some images here that I upload myself, which I can upload things right here, but to get to a page image, go ahead and click on a cow image here on the top left, go to page images, and then boom, all the images that you have on your page will appear.
Give it one second. There they are. And now you're able to choose them based on the ones you post on your page.

How Do I Remove An Agency From A Facebook Page?

So the first thing you're going to want to do is to log into your Facebook business account. By going to business.facebook.com, then you're going to want to go to the business settings at the bottom left.
Once you do that, you're going to see a tab that says accounts, right? And then you're going to see one that says, users.
Now under your accounts, the pages and the ad accounts are where you'll see the agency connected to, or you'll see them, sorry, you're out accounts and your pages that the agency that you're working is connected to.
Now, if you go-to partner, you're going to see the agency here. What you're going to want to do is click on the remove button at the top, right?
So the remove button is going to be right up here at the top, right? It's going to say remove, and it's going to be under the partner's tab that will remove that agency from any page or ad account that is on your account.

How Do I Correctly Configure An Offer On Facebook?

Hey there, welcome to Hopps help where we answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is how do I correctly configure an author on Facebook?
So, we'll go ahead and start off on the campaign section where the objective is conversions, right? Cause I'm running an offer on to make sure that my camp, my campaign objective follows next.
We'll go ahead and go to the ad set level where I was doing a sweep over everything. Making sure that the pixel is prop is properly installed and aspiring correctly.
Along with the conversion event, I'm doing a purchase because my offers and be a purchase for this. For this example, I scroll down a bit more.
You'll see the offer, and then we'll go ahead and enable. We'll go ahead and click or not click find the page you want to run the offer on and then go to right here, click create offer next, give your offer title.
I'm going to say 50% off sale or like a black Friday sale, for example, or whatever it is, right details.
You keep yourself, excuse me, relatively short, you get up to 250 characters. So, I'm going to say, wow. So applies last.
Get it well for a complete example, next is your end date. Let's say that you're running it for a week.
Maybe two weeks. You're able to put an end date. So, it has an expression and then I'll do 11:59 PM. Now the offer redemption working people will redeem this offer.
Is it online only, or is it online and in-store either way, go ahead and do an online offer your L this is where they all go ahead and see that page?
So you can see it here. It says online and in-store or online only. So, it tells them right there, type of promo codes.
Now, are you doing no codes? Are you doing one code unique code? Maybe, maybe you have an Excel sheet full of unique codes you want to use, or if you have just an online code you want people to use, what is that code and how many are you going to have available?
Let's say that you have tapped off at a thousand. I don't worry. Or you're always able to come back and change it.
If you need to, let's say that you need more than you thought or a lot less than you thought, then you're able to hop back on and change these ones.
That's always missed or easily not understood. Cause it is kind of tricky is this little option right here is that if you click on this, you'll see that as it hides the share button, which you don't want to do, of course, it's up to you, but you don't want to do because it is your business and it's a promotion.
So you want it to have as much exposure as possible. So, make sure that is not clicked. And then you're able to put terms and conditions down below, like limit one per customer, for example, and then create, and then make sure that all your ads aligned to it properly.
Make sure all the branding and all the verbiage go hand in hand with your offers and making sure that 50% off is said in your headline or your primary texts and make sure it all is one giant journey and a great customer experience journey is what I mean throughout the whole entire experience.
So, they don't get confused or thrown off by going from one page to another. And like, what, what is this?

How Do I Track Click-to-call Ads?

Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is how to track, click-to-call ads?
And it goes a little bit, a little bit further and says if I'm running Facebook ads for a painting company and I'm charging per lead, how do I track them?
Is it possible to track, click, to call ads? Should I set up a lead form and say they had to call at the end?
So this is a great question. And there are multiple ways to do this as one of the ways is one you mentioned, or as he mentioned, uh, to set up, set up a lead generation form, which would ultimately give the customer the journey of going through the ad, filling out some questions.
And then, uh, hopefully by this example, give them their phone number for, you know, uh, for us to track or this person to track and also for them to give them a call.
So that's one way to do it now. Um, another way that I do it, you know, for example, I was running ads for a law firm, and so I needed a little bit better way to track, not only the calls that I'm getting but also the quality of the calls that are coming in.
So that way, you know, if my ads are being delivered, um, to the wrong audience and they're calling for the wrong reasons or the quality's just not good, like there's a difference between having higher intent and quality control, right?
So I don't want to have a hundred people opt-in who are just, I want the 10 maybe, or the five people that are solid leads.
So this could mean, or so to kind of differentiate the boat when you're doing this is, my best way is to always increase the number of questions during your form or your intake session, or make them a little bit more complicated to weed out the ones that aren't so serious about it if that makes sense.
But again, it's all up to you, to your goals and what you want to do. So the third-party application I use is called call rail.
It's super easy to integrate. There's nothing crazy about this. I'm not sponsored or anything like that. It's just a tool and resource I use because not only does it, like I said, uh, keep track of all the calls, but also the quality of the calls.
I can actually listen to the calls and the people who are answering and not because I'm like trying to like, hear about their business, but more of, so whoever's calling, I can understand where they're coming from or, you know like I said, the quality of the call.

 How Do I Name Leads With A Specific Name?

And under two minutes, the question we're going to answer today is how do you name leads with a specific name? so you to do this, to name leads with a specific name you're going to go ahead and you're going to have to create a custom conversion event.
So to do this, you're going to go to business settings at the bottom left of your Facebook business. As a manager, go to data sources and go to pixels.
Now you do have to make sure your pixel is attached to your website. And we do have other videos on hops on how to do this off to the right.
When you put on the pixel, you're going to see a big green create button. Go ahead and click on that and click on create custom conversion.
Now down here, you're going to be able to put in the URL for your lead page. So go ahead and get lead page number one, put it down here, and then click on the name, your conversion, and name that your lead page and hit create the same thing.
Again, you can hit create, but the next one down there and create another lead page. And so that is going to be the best way to name your leads with Facebook ads.

What Is The Best Way To Set Up The Promotion And Ensure Target Users?

So one year Doing a live promotion, or you are a finished July promotion, it's going to go on your Facebook page.
And that's what I'm showing you right here. This is a client of mine, and he has this post that he made.
Now, this isn't a live video, but a live video will still show up the same way. And you're going to see a little button that says boost post, right?
So they run a promotion for like a live video, I would say, run the live video, right while you're running it, or maybe after the video is done, go ahead and boost your post.
And you're going to be given some targeting options. And we're going to go ahead and jump to another tab so that I can show you what these targeting options would Look like.
So you're Going to have options that are going to be for detailed targeting. Now, as far as what your campaign objective should be, your campaign objective is going to be whatever you're looking to do.
So are you looking to drive, uh, views to your profile? Are you looking to run a giveaway, right? And so when you click on that boost post, you're going to be given certain options, but you're also going to be given the option for detailed targeting.
Now, this is going to be huge as far as where you show your ad and what sort of people see it.
So my client has a skateboard, right? So let's go ahead and put in a skateboard. Boom. So maybe skateboard is a place where I want to show that video, right?
To get in front of more people that are interested in skateboards, maybe skateboarding, right? And so this is really a great way to ensure good high-quality targeting for your Facebook ads.

How Do I Do A Mass Edit Within A Campaign?

So why it's important or when do you use this? So you'll go ahead and do a mass edit when you have multiple ads that all have an error, for example.

So I have a clean period anywhere period, any Time period. So as you can see, it's missing an E and it's missing an E for all my ads, you can see.
So in order, so instead of going through each ad and changing it, I want to go ahead and do is go ahead and highlight or check Mark all three and then press edit right here.
So now it's going to pull up and highlight the three as I'm editing. So I know which ones I'm editing.
Let me go ahead and scroll down. And I can see this right here, that the headline is all the same.
It's clean anywhere, any time. So let me go ahead and fix that and add that E and now go ahead and publish it.

How Do I Calculate The CTR?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions. And under two minutes, the question we're going to answer today is how is click-through rate calculated on Facebook ads?
So today we're going to go over how click-through rate is calculated, and then also an example to calculate. So, Facebook calculates your CTR by dividing ads, a total number of clicks by its total.
A number of impressions. The result is then multiplied by a hundred and expressed as a percentage. So, for example, if a thousand people saw your ad and a hundred people clicked on it, Facebook first divides a hundred number clicks by a thousand, which is the number of impressions.
The result of that calculation is 0.1%, or I'm sorry, 0.1, which then multiplied by a hundred to get your CTR percentage, which is 10%.

How Do I Edit The Duration Settings Of An Event?

So the first thing you're going to want to do is to access the event on your Facebook page. Once you do that, you're going to be taken to your events screen.

How Does Facebook Attribution Window Work?

Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is how does Facebook ad attribution work?
So, so we'll go ahead and start off on the ad set level. Uh, I'm running a conversion campaign, so I'll go ahead and scroll all the way down to optimization and delivery.
You'll see it right here. And then it'll probably look like this where it'll say show more options, go ahead and click on show more options, and then you'll see attributes and setting.
Okay. So what is an attribution setting? So it's the number of days between when someone viewed or click your ad and then took action on your website and that's referred to as the attribution window and I'm reading that because I want it to give you the exact definition of it and not just my rendition of it.
Um, so for this example, I have the attribution setting as a one-day click or one or one-day view.
So this means I want Facebook to tell or to show my ads to anyone who they think will convert in the one day after seeing or after viewing or clicking my ad.
Now, it's really important to understand what you're looking for here because this will dictate the results and the data that you'll get or that it'll present.
So, uh, if you want to do like, for example, e-commerce like your songs on online, right? I normally go for that, the larger, amount, cause I want to be like, I want Facebook to show my ad to people who I think will convert within a week, depending on the product and service I'm doing it all kind of depends but make sure you understand what you're looking for because it's important to set this correctly.
It's a very missed step. But it'll basically always defaulted to whatever they think is best, but it's important to understand that way.

How Do I Break Down Performance By Ad Type?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps. So where we try to answer commonly asked questions in under two minutes, the question we're going to answer today is how do I break down ad performance by location or ad type?
So what you're going to want to do is go to business stuff, facebook.com/ad manager, or go to business.facebook.com, go to the top left versus business tools and go ahead and click on ads manager.
Now off to the right, you're going to see a drop-down menu that says break down, click on the breakdown, and you're going to go to delivery.
And you're going to scroll down to where it says placement. Now, when you click on placement, you'll be able to see where your ad was placed and break it down based on, you know, all the places that your ad has been and see which places are performing the best.
So that's a simple explanation of how to break down your ads and be able to see them based on placement.
