How Do I Add Remarketing Code On Google Ad Landing Pages And Sites?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we are answering today is how do I add remarketing code on Google sites as they do not allow editing the source code?
So the short answer to that question is you can't. Okay. So the remarketing code that you would put, um, on your website, you are not allowed to put that on Google's owned and operated sites.
Uh, but that doesn't mean that you can't remarket to them. So the way to remark it, users who have interacted with, either like your YouTube channel or maybe it's a Google app, can all be done through the audience manager in your ad account.
So if you go to the remarketing section and you click on, add a list, there are different options here. So there are website visitors, which would be collected from the remarketing code on your own site, app users, YouTube users, and a customer list, which would be something that you would upload from your CRM system or email service provider, et cetera.
Um, so the owned and operated sites that Google manages such as the Google play store or YouTube, both of these accounts can be linked to your Google ad account.
And so you just need to make sure that whatever log-in you're using for your Google ad account has the permissions to share and link data from your Google play store or YouTube channel.
And once you have those accounts linked, then you'll be able to have your channel here and eventually then create lists off of people that have interacted with your videos, such as the viewed it subscribed to your channel.
Uh, or if it's the Google play store, if they installed your application or took some conversion event in your app.
And once everything's linked up, you will see a list of all the audiences here and where it's coming from, such as the website app, or customer list or YouTube users for other Google platforms, such as Google my business, um, or Google search console.
Those are more for you can still link it to your account. It'll just pull in data, but you can not build remarketing lists off of data from those platforms.
