How Do I Add Locations To Other Ad Groups Or Remove Locations From An Ad Group?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we are answering today is how to add locations to other ad groups or remove locations from an ad group?
So, unfortunately, within Google ads, the locations are only set at the campaign level, meaning you cannot add or remove locations to ad groups.
So, the way to map an ad group to a location is to use it at the campaign level. So, if you have ad groups in a campaign that you want to serve two different geo targets or locations, you would take the campaign, copy it, and then paste it to duplicate the campaign.
Once the campaigns are finished duplicating, you'll go into the new campaign. That's been set up under the campaign settings and then edit the locations.

That's a great question. So Google, fortunately, has a prebuilt report, that has all of your call data. If you're using the call extension.
So it's under reports, predefined reports, extensions, call details. Now I don't have any data to look at, but if you were using the call extension and driving phone calls, you would get the start time duration country code area code, color, phone number, recording status, call source call type campaign and ad group that generated the phone call.

How Do I Get Started With Google Display Campaign?

Hey there, welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked digital marketing questions in about two minutes. The question I've got right here in front of me is how do I get started with a Google display campaign?
All right. So, Google display. So, we're inside of Google ads. I'm just in a demo account here, I'm under campaigns.
And from this particular tab, all I need to do actually is click this blue button over here on the left new campaign.
So, there are a couple of different goals that you can choose from that are good options for display was just assume for our purposes right now that, that we're going for brand awareness and reach.
So that's the bottom left here. I mean, you could also do website traffic or even sales or leads. Let's just do brand awareness and reach and you can see it gives you a more specific campaign type option.
So, you've, you've got the choice between display and video. So, we're going to do a display. You would put your website right here.
I'm going to go ahead and skip that part. Okay. So now this is sort of the main section of the campaign build process.
You're going to choose targeting options. You can see there are, here's the section for geographic targeting here's language, targeting the type of bidding strategy, your budget right here.
So, there are a lot of different things that you're going to want to fill in. You've got date range stuff.
A lot of this is going to depend on what you're trying to achieve. So not realistic to try to address all these different sections in, two minutes for the purposes of this video, I just said, at least wanted to get, get you this far, but I do want to point out one other thing.
That's pretty important. If you are going to create a display campaign at the very bottom here. So, I've scrolled all the way down.
You're going to see the section that asks you to create ads. I'm going to click the new ad and you See you, you basically need to already have display assets ready to go.
So definitely keep that in mind, right? So, you can upload existing display ads. You can copy, you can also build these responsive display ads, which are one of the more recently released features from Google.
So, you can upload different assets, images, logos. You can even do video. You can include different headline description text, but definitely keep the image assets aspect in mind.
When you, when you get ready to build a campaign. So that's, that's all I wanted to the walkthrough for the purposes of this particular video and explaining how to get started with it, just with the display campaign.

How Do I Link Google Ads With GMB?

My business? First of all, your business should be registered in Google my business and straightaway. I am going to my Google ads account and the left more side as an extension, click on the extensions and then click on this blue plus button and then click on litigation extensions.
Here, we have two major options like curated location, by the way, this is a new addition to the Google ads account.
And the second one is finding a Google my business account. And in this option, we could connect both accounts by our domain name, and in the third option linked to a google my business account.
I know in this option, we also connector, or we could connect both of accounts by urge, email, or Dez.
So, in the second option, I will just paste a domain name, copy link, address, and paste in here, Right? These are, are these reserves, Google my business has about techno Lang's.
So, I'm selecting one of them Like best on this like button. And you can also preview that, how it looked likes in the Google search results.

How Do I Set Up A Geographic Location Outside The City?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes, the question I'm looking at here is how do I set up the geographic location outside the city?
In other words, how do I set a geographic targeting? Um, that's not city targeting, so I'm going to show you I'm inside a demo campaign.
I've clicked on settings right here, and I'm inside the geographic location targeting section of settings. I'm going to hit advanced search.
I've kind of just got us around Austin, Texas, but we've already established that we don't want city targeting, right? So there are three ways that you can do this.
There are three ways at least, um, that come to mind to me, let's say you want to do a small radius and you want to just pick something that's not around an address.
It's just kind of a little bit more rural. There you go. And you're targeting this radius, a small radius. This is a little bit East of Elgon.
Here's another option for you. You can go under location and then on the far right, toggle this on show all areas.
So now this gives you all the kind of predefined counties and zip codes that Google has, um, got in the system, right?
This is, you know, powered by Google or type data. You can see the, uh, the map changed here. They're all these different kinds of great out zip codes and counties.
So you can click on any one of these targets then that will if you like. And then the final thing I want to show you, add locations in bulk.
So you could actually put in a list of postal codes if you want here, which I think is another great way to do non-city targeting.
If it's a little bit more rural, um, you know, coming into the targeting and already having a zip code list in hand is great.

How Do I Edit The Product Titles Just For The Google Shopping / Mall Through Shopify Without Editing The Site Data?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we are answering today is how do I edit the product titles just for the Google merchant center, without editing the data in Shopify?
So, to do that, you should already have a feed coming from Shopify, and it might look something like this, where it says content API.
So, in order to change the data that's coming from Shopify, we're going to set up, what's called a supplemental feed.
So, under your feet menu, click here to add a supplemental feed. You can name whatever you want. Let's say a product title changes.
And in this example, I'm going to use Google sheets, but you can use different upload methods. I'm going to generate a new sheet from a template, make sure that it's scheduled to run daily, Select the product feed, coming from Shopify and create the feed Speed.
Okay. So here is the new supplemental feed that we just created. I'm going to now open it in Google sheets, and now here's the important part.
So for any supplemental feed, you need to have a column called ID and then the field that you want to change, which is the title.
Now, these colon titles need to match exactly to what's in your product feed. So here's an export that I took from Google merchant center, and I'm going to copy the ID and product title over to the supplemental feed sheet.
Now, if I want to update the title, I can rewrite any of these titles. And now when this supplemental feed is activated, any products that match this ID will now have the new title.

How Do I Receive An Email When Each Campaign Spends A Certain Amount Of Budget?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions and for about two or three minutes, the question I've got here has to do with Google ads.
How do I receive an email when each campaign spends a certain amount of budget? So, the best place to go to set something up that will tell you the email, if a campaign has spent a certain amount of budget is the rules section inside of Google ads.
So how did I get here? I click tools and settings, and then just on our bulk actions, it's literally called the rules.
So, I don't have any rules created just yet. Let's go ahead and create one. That'll do the job. I'm going to hit campaign rules because this is about a campaign, right?
When a campaign hits a certain spend threshold, name it, whatever you want, select an action. So, you could have it, you know, do the rural can, you know, pause campaigns enable campaigns, change budgets.
We obviously want to send an email on this case. So simple enough right there. I only have one campaign inside of this demo account, so I don't need to change this reality, but if you had multiple campaigns, they would show up here.
So, then you could kinda, you know, select certain ones here or make another rule and do something different with that second rule and that, and those additional campaigns.
So, you can get kind of specific with, with what you want to do with certain campaigns, depending on, depending on your needs.
So actually, I should go ahead and just select one. The one I was talking about the condition, add a condition. So, for spins, you're gonna go-to performance and then let's actually click costs.
Let's pretend that the amount is $1,500. So, if this campaign right here, right, if it spends over $1,500, that's when this rule needs to fire and trigger that email for me.
So, let's hit apply. That's the most important condition, the frequency at which this rule runs. I mean, this works for me.
You can change those daily at 6:00 PM. Now, this is also another important part. Do you want it to use data from all time?
Or do you want to just do this month? I mean, there are a lot of advertisers that run on a monthly, on a monthly budget.
So, let's pretend it's a monthly budget and then email the results. Yes. Only if there are changes or hairs, not every time the rule runs, which would be daily.
Right. So, let's hit the save the rule. Cause that's essentially how you do it and you can review what it does right here.

What Are Negative Keywords And How Do I Configure Them?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in about two minutes. This question is related to Google ads and is what are negative keywords and how do I configure them?
So negative keywords are the opposite of your regular keywords. So, you set regular keywords in order to bid on certain things, and certain phrases that people search you set of negative keywords to let Google ads know.
Please do not include my ads in the auction for this person's search. So, whatever you basically don't want to show for you include as a negative keyword.
You can see some examples here. This is just a demo account. So, demo, demo, negative keywords, but I'm telling Google ads, look if Berlin or eBay or pudding or YouTube, if those things are included in a person search, even if that person is searching, using keywords that I like, if they include a negative keyword, don't show me in that auction, don't show my add to that person.
So that's, what's happening with negative keywords. There are two main ways that I want to show you to add negative keywords.
One of them is very easy to do from this screen. So, I'm inside of this negative keyword tab, just hit this plus sign and you just can list them out right here.
Negative. Can your words just hit save? You can add them at the campaign level. You can add them at the ad group level.
The other option is adding a whole list or, you know, compiling a list. And then it gives you a little more versatility with adding your keywords.
The negative ones specifically. So, I'm up here at the top tools and settings. Go ahead and click that. And then you can see under the shared library, negative keyword lists.
I've already created one and I've got it associated with one campaign. So negative keyword lists are great. They're powerful. Definitely a best practice I recommend.
So you can add to an existing negative keyword list. So, this would be, if I wanted to add to this existing one, and down here, you can see the campaign it's associated with.
But then also I can create a new negative keyword list from scratch. And I would do that right here. Yeah.

What Is The Right Bid Strategy For My Keywords And Ads?

How Do I Set Up Billing For The First Time Successfully?

Hi, this is Phil from hops. And today we're going to be talking about how to successfully add your billing and payment information into Google ads so that you don't run into any issues.
So, once you are in your Google ads accounts, what you're going to want to do is go over to the billing section and go to the summary.
And you're going to have the option to put in a credit card, a PayPal account, or a bank account. Okay.
So, in this case, there's already a credit card added to this account. So, all you're gonna want to do is simply go to manage payment methods, add a payment method, and then here are those different options.
Now, if you've run into an issue before where you've been suspended for suspicious payment activity, what I would recommend is adding in your bank account information because your bank account is going to have a little bit more power, as far as authorization is concerned, and Google will be able to recognize that.
So, but for me personally, I have always just put in a credit card. I haven't run into any of those issues before.
But if you have run into those kinds of issues, then I recommend do a bank account first, but you have those three options.
You'll select whichever option you'd like and follow, those steps. Okay. Like, so, and then once it's in, you're good to go and you can go from there.

How Do I Fix A Disapproved Ad?

How Do I Change The Landing Page While The Campaign Is Running Without Affecting The Results?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in about two minutes. The question I'm looking at here is how do I change the landing page while a campaign is running without affecting the results?
So, this is for Google ads. Let's address the back end of the question. First, the short answer is you can't.
And by that, I mean, you can't change the landing page without affecting the campaign in some small way. You're not going to break anything.
And if it's actually a superior landing page to whatever you currently have and your campaign, then you could actually improve your results, but just an important disclaimer, for anybody wanting to change a landing page a while a campaign is live.
I mean, it doesn't matter if you pause the campaign, keep it running. If you're changing landing pages it's going to affect your metrics.
So just keep that in mind now, how do you go about doing that? Assuming you do want to move ahead would change the landing page.
There are two ways the first way to change a landing page is, and you can, you can see them inside of Google ads.
I'm going to the ads tab. I'm going to click this little pencil icon if next to this particular ad. And let's say, I only want to change the landing page for this one ad right here at the top.
You can see us as the final URL. This demo account is focused on hops. So, I've just got the landing page as hops.io.
So, I can change it right there. If I wanted to let's look at a second way to do this, and I will actually implement the change with the second method here.
So, say you wanted to do multiple ads at once. You can do this little box right here on the far left.
It ticks all the boxes. These for the two ads that are in this table, I'm gonna hit edit change ads.
And I'm actually going to snag a different URL from Hopps website and plug it in here. You can see it's not just the home page.
It's how it works. Page, just hit apply and that changed it. You can see I've got this column here for the final URL, and it's now the how it works URL.

How Do I Set Up Google Ads Traffic To Google Analytics?

So, to do that, the first step is to log into your analytics account and under product linking or sorry under admin, go to the product, a link for Google ads and make sure that your account is linked.
Google ads account is linked to your analytics. If it's not, there's a step-by-step process to link your account though, just make sure that you're using the same login that you use for Google ads, with Google analytics.
And it's very straightforward. If you very, once you verify that the Google ads account is linked up, the next step is to go over to your Google ads account, open up your settings, go to account settings and check that auto-tagging is enabled.
