How Do I Efficiently Set Up A Shopify Store For A Single Product With Color Variations?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps. And today we're going to talk about basically creating a website that is for one singular product.
This is kind of an easy answer, but really this boils down to selecting the correct theme. So, I'm going to show you a theme that I, I actually was hired to create for a client that is selling one singular product.
And it's really about, you know, finding that, that particular theme. So, if you go to, if you go to themes.shopify.com, this is the theme store within Shopify, and you have many different themes to choose from.
There is a free version of a free option within Shopify for a one-product selection for your store. However, I would highly recommend that you buy a theme from Shopify.
Their themes are $180 and you'll be able to use that. And so, my recommendation is to go with a theme called impulse, and we're going to go over to that theme right here.
And I'll show you the one that I was that designed calls. All right. So here's the impulse theme and you will see here that there are three different options.
The option that I designed for the singular product that I was hired for is called bold. And here's that website here, and this is this again is focused on one singular item.
And within this, you'll see that it's very, very easy to work with a lot of customization options, different things to go with.
And you will see here that there are options for a color switch, so you can have the colors. So how to do the color switch here is you simply want to upload the product to Shopify.
And then once you are in that space, you will go in once you're in that space and you upload the product itself, you're going to want to select variant options, and then you can add different variants.
Okay. And then you'll be able to manicure those variants, however, you choose. And then those color options will then show up on the website itself.
Okay. So really one product is just more so and, a breakdown of how you would like to utilize a certain theme.
And again, as I mentioned, there are other themes within Shopify that are free, but they're not necessarily going to look this good, and you kind of get what you pay for.
So, I'd highly recommend you go with the impulse theme. There's a lot of image options within that theme. And then you'll be able to really highlight that one singular product.

How Do I Change The Default Search Box Language?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we're answering today is how do I change the default search box language?
So, if we don't like the language, we have up here you know, where it says search all products, maybe do we want it to say search our amazing products?
It's a pretty easy fix. Let's go into our Shopify backend and go into an online store and then themes. Okay, that'll come up automatically.
Then we're going to want to go to our live theme or whatever theme you want to change and go to actions, edit languages.
Okay. And because there's so much on this page, what I'm going to do is just search for this text. Okay.
Search all products. Okay. And here we have our placeholder text for the layout search bar, and then let's make this say search our amazing products and let's do an exclamation point.
Okay. Let's save now. Let's refresh our store and boom. That placeholder text has been changed. Okay. And if there's anything else on the site, any of this other language, and other search boxes, just type it in here, whatever it says, and it should pop up and you should be able to edit it.

How Do I Notify Customers That A Product Is Backordered, In Stock Or Out Of Stock?

Hi there. This is Theo from Hopps help we attempt to answer Shopify questions in two to three minutes or less.
And today's question is about how to notify customers when an item is out of stock and or low stock? And this is a is an interesting question and really the there are two ways to go about it.
There's one way that's pretty simple. And there's another way that you can, you can utilize yourself. So, I'm going to hop over to a story here quick that has an option to view a product description update.
So the thing, number one you can do is just simply type in your update in your product description. And you can do that by simply going to the product descriptions of the item that you're selling.
And then from there, you'll be able to go ahead and have that update available on your store for that particular product.
However, of course, you would like to do this automatically as well, right? You want to have automatic updates. So the next thing you can do is you can also go to your app store and go to an app called merge.
B's low stock alert and this is a really great Hab. What you can do here is you can have alerts be sent out for inventory for low stock.
And even for items that have come back into stock for said customers, and they will be able to be alerted via email for their particular stock issues of the item they're looking for.
So I highly recommend you go for this app. There are other apps as well that you can try out, but this is absolutely the best one.
And I would highly recommend that you try this one. You can also search out of stock notifications and you will find various other options, but Merck bees are absolutely the best option.

How Do I Set Up A Confirmation Email To Newsletter Subscribers?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps help, where we attempt to answer your questions in two to three minutes. And today's question is about how you can set up a response to a newsletter subscription?
So, imagine when you have your potential customers subscribe to the newsletter, pop-up on your website and you want it to have them receive information back like a confirmation of some sort.
I'm going to refer over to a third-party company called Klaviyo and Klaviyo is in my opinion, the best email service that you can get especially with its integration with Shopify.
So, you can simply create a Klaviyo account. And then after you make that go-out Klaviyo account, you can add Klaviyo as an app to your Shopify account, make that connection happen.
And then you can go into Klaviyo and set up what are called flows, and you can set up different types of flows that are automated in the system, and you can go about making sure everything is running automatically for different types of flows.
And then, in this case, I'm going to talk about the welcome series and in the welcome series, you can attach that welcome series to a list and that list is then also attached to your store.
So what that list means is that when somebody subscribes to your, let's say you have a pop-up that comes up on your website, that person's email address is going to be brought into the list instead of Klaviyo.
And that list is attached to the welcome series, email flow that you've set up and you can customize what that email flow says.
So in this case, I'm just going to use this story as an example. But let me, let Lee show you a live view as opposed to going into the actual editing portion.
So you can just kind of see what it looks like. So this person, this company had someone design their flow for them in regards to all their flows but more specifically designed the look and feel of the welcome series.
And here's a person that actually signed up for the welcome series and collaborative shows you when they opened it and what they received.
Okay. So, I'm going to just click on this and it's going to pull up the flow for this. Let's see here.
Let's see here, pull it up one more time. Here we go. And you can see here, this person designed this, and here's what happens for this particular website.
You, the customer receives this information when they sign up for the newsletter. Okay. So this is a really great way to have that response.
So, if somebody signs up for the newsletter a minute or two later, they get a nice, fancy email that you designed yourself inside of.

How Do I Automate Shopify To Assign A Tracking Number Once A Customer Buys Something?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps help where we try to answer your questions in two to three minutes. And today going to be talking about how you can automate your tracking number to be assigned to a customer right after they purchase?
So to answer that question directly, unfortunately, there is not a system in place right now that allows for this to happen.
And the reason for that is mostly because there's Shopify wants to have that process be manual so that people can make sure that all their ducks are in a row when they are doing their tracking.
I've even personally seen some situations where I've had a supplier provide me with a tracking number and it's either been the wrong tracking number or the tracking number gets canceled by the carrier or, or what have you.
So it's kind of good to actually not have it be automated because you, you kind of do want to manually watch that.
So at this current point in time to answer your question directly, no, the reality actually isn't an answer for this right now.
However, there are solutions that are being created. For example, there is a system, a new system out there called unify, which is, which is one of the things Defy's going to eventually do is have the option for people to have an automated system for allowing for tracking numbers to go through automatically.
So you can, you'll be able to do that. You will have to, however, you will have to make permission to, in order for that, to for that function to work.
So, so, unfortunately, no, there's not a way for this to work. You will have to go to the item that needs the tracking number, Mark it as fulfilled, and then placed your tracking number here and then click fulfill.
So obviously you know, it would be nice if it were automated, however, it is as a safeguard and it is best, for that to happen the way it does right now.
And then eventually, you know, when systems are created like the unified system, eventually you will be able to have it be automated and just person will receive their tracking number.
Once it's available through an automated way. But as of right now, most of the time people are receiving the tracking number from whoever they're shipping from.
And then it makes sense to kind of do it manually and happen there and put it in yourself. So, all right, hope this was helpful.

How Do I Add A Read More Option In The Product Description?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps help, and we're going to talk about adding a read more section, on a product page in Shopify.
This is really actually pretty simple. You're going to have to, if it's in the product description, you're going to have to make that option a hyperlink.
Okay. So, I have a kind of example on this particular website here, you can see here how we have this exclusive discount option page, and then you have a learn more button that learns more button was something that I then takes you to this page in particular.
And that is kind of an example of doing a kind of a different part of the website. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to hyperlink this page inside of a product description.
So, we're going to go to this product description, and you want it to basically have a read more in the product description.
So, when you can do edit that product description, Plus the word, read more there, and we can fold that we can do a whole bunch of stuff with it.
And see here, I'll take this page. No, it's bolded. So, and we're going to click save. And now we're just going to go to the page itself and wonder if it's going to actually take, let's see here, what it does.
And so what's going to happen is people will be able to filter it is clicked the read more, and it'll take them to said page doing a hyperlink is probably the best way to do something like this in the product page specifically.
Now you can dress it up how you'd like bold it, underline it, not underline it. It really depends on the theme.
You might even be able to put a box around it, to kind of look, make it, look like a button, but as well, but you're going to have to hyperlink part of your website or to wherever you want to read more to point to for that to work in the product description.

How Do I Add Customer Reviews On The Home Page Of The Store?

Hi, this is Theo, from Hopps help. And we're going to talk about adding reviews to your homepage through Shopify. So, there are a couple of pretty simple ways you can do this and there are also some more advanced ways you can do it.
Let's talk about the kind of third-party way of the quote, unquote, more advanced. It's pretty simple though. So, what you're going to do is go to your Shopify account, go into apps like I am here and then you're going to want to just go to the app store and for this, I'm going to touch on a couple of things, but I'm going to go straight to an app that I know does really well for reviews.
I personally actually don't use it myself, but I have seen other people use it and I've seen how it works and it works great.
So, the app is called judge me, and just going to type that in and it is, let's see. Let's see here.
It's going to put in judging my reviews so I can get that pulled up here. And here it is right here, judge. my product reviews.
Alright, judge me and this app is a really great app. If you want it to basically just have some reviews and social proof kind of placed on your site, really, really great app.
You can kind of see here are some example pieces and you can use them. Here's some here's like an example of a homepage version of it.
Judge me is also something that you can do in regards to putting that on your product pages as well. But yeah, judging me is a really great one aside from just using judgment.
You can also simply just search for other apps within this spot. Let's see here, you're going to put in a view Product review.
Okay. And you can search this as well within, within the apps store from Shopify. But my recommendation is to go with judge me.
Now, another thing you can do is you can simply go to your online store in Shopify and go to pages and just simply manually create your own page specifically for reviews and actually just track down your customers and ask them to leave you a review, email it to you, and then you can just create your own page like so, and, you know, a label that page, whatever you want.
And then go ahead and type in or copy and paste those reviews over to your site. And then from there, all you would need to do is create an a, an option within your website and put place those reviews, that page of reviews on your homepage.
So, let's say I made a page for reviews. I could simply then go into the customized section of my website.
I can then add a section and we can do let's see here. I think it's it should be a custom option.
 Should be able to have some blink. Yeah. As you can do a rich text here, I've got a testimonial section for this particular theme, and you can simply just manually have those in yourself.
I have a version of this actually on this site. I have it actually in my main menu, I have testimonials specifically for one supplier for this particular store.
And what actually happened here is this particular supplier gave me reviews of their products from real customers. And I simply copied and pasted it, made a page, and put it there.
So, there are several different ways that you can go about doing reviews. And I would recommend, however, if you want to really do it well, do judge me.
If you want to skip the judgment thing and not pay anything, then you could simply make it yourself and paste it onto a Shopify on your store.

How Do I Reduce The Size Of The 'Add To Cart' Button In The Supply Theme?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we are answering today is how do I reduce the size of the add to cart button in the supply theme?
So, if we want to reduce the size of this after cart, we can do this with a simple CSS change.
So, let's go to our online store themes and then go to actions. We're going to want to duplicate the theme because we're doing a code change.
And if we have any issues, we mess anything up. We can always just revert back to this. Okay? And now we're going to go to actions, edit code, and we're going to want to find our theme dot S C S S dot liquid file.
This should be in our assets here. There we go. And now we're going to want to go all the way to the bottom and we're going to paste in a piece of code.
Okay? Oops. To the bottom here, we're going to paste in the code. That's in the description of this video. I have it right here.
I just did a copy and copy. Now we're going to write. Click and paste. And these options will reduce the size of that button, but you may want to tweak them a bit to your liking.
So, this is the width of the button. It's a percentage. This is the height and pixels, and this is the font size.
And you're going to want to tweak all of these. You can just change the numbers around to your liking. Okay?
So, let's hit save and refresh, and we see that button is smaller. It looks like the font is a little too big.
So, we may want to jump in here and reduce the font size. Maybe like 11 saves, refresh. That looks a bit better.

How Do I Set Up Email Delivery For Myself And The Customer About Orders?

Hi this is Theo from Hopps help where we try to answer your questions in two to three minutes today's question is about how you can view the emails that get sent out to your customers? so basically what I like to do is try to do this through a third-party company and as you can see on your screen I have here Klaviyo if you haven't heard of Klaviyo it's a really great really great company your first 500 emails sent out are free and you can also attach it as an app to your Shopify account now there's really not a built-in system that automatically sends you a blind copy of an email and also sends out that email to the customer there are ways to do that within Shopify specifically through the draft order system but we're talking about here full scale emails right order confirmations shipping confirmations uh abandoned cart flows all kinds of stuff right so um the reason I bring up Klaviyo is because you can have a Klaviyo account that will show you all of the ins and outs of every single email that interacts with your store and it's a really great way to view the system so no you will not be able to just have a blind copy sent to you but when you create your Klaviyo account and it is starting to automatically send out emails when a customer interacts with your store you can simply just go to the dashboard and then go to the activity feed and see what customers are doing so as you can see here this customer received their shipping confirmation email automated and then you can see how many times they opened it and if I want to just view what that actual email was that they received then I can just click on that and it shows them shows me exactly what they saw okay which is really really great and then also you could simply click on that customer's name and Klaviyo automatically puts them in a kind of a metric that allows you to view every single thing that they did via their email on your site so it's really great way to just kind of monitor email interactions on your website highly would recommend Klaviyo all right this has been Theo from Hopps help if you have further questions please hop over to https://app.hopps.io/session/create for more questions about these types of topics alright hope this helps, thanks.

How Do I Automatically Insert Tracking Numbers In Shopify?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps and we're going to briefly talk about adding tracking numbers to your Shopify store. So to answer your question directly, no, there is not a way to automatically add tracking numbers to your Shopify store.
You have to do it manually. You have to have somebody do it manually. However, there is a solution coming soon for that.
So what's happening here is when you have an order, come in, I'm sure you probably know this by now, but you'll have your orders.
You'll go to your orders and you will simply go to set order. And if it's a FedEx tracking number ups, USP S the market's fulfilled, and then you will place for tracking number here.
And it will, if it's USP as FedEx ups, it'll automatically, you know, switch over to the, to that perspective. One, be sure to select this button so that the customer gets the automated fulfilled email with the tracking number and in place.
So yes, there is no way to automatically do this. You have to do it manually. However, there is a solution coming.
It is called unify and unify is it's going to be an all-inclusive place for people who are running online stores more specifically for people who are doing online retail, and you'll, you'll be able to do many, many different things with unifying, but the coolest thing you'll be able to do with you, if I, as eventually, what you can do is you can put your connectivity to whomever you are sourcing your products from, have them build a unified profile for free.
Everyone who does sourcing manufacturing has a free notify, a profile. And what can happen is when you receive your order, your Shopify account will ping, unify all the order information.
You can log into unifying, click one button, and it will send all the order information to your respective manufacturer or source whomever to receive that order information.
And when they received the, have their tracking number ready, all they have to do is simply put the tracking number into unifying, and it will then ping that tracking number into Shopify, and automatically you'll have the option to automatically let all tracking numbers, ping the Shopify and go straight to your customer without you having to log in and manually copy and paste them and, or miss emails in any of that.
It'll be seamless unify right now is in beta stages. If you're interested in signing up for unify, all you have to do is go to is contact field at unifying.
Okay. Contact me basically. And you'll be able to get right into that section and get you signed up on the beta testing.
But to answer your question straight up, no, there is no way to do that. You have to actually do it manually at this current stage in time.

How Do I Change The Color Of The Sale Price?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we're answering today is how do I change the color of the sale price?
So basically, we want to change this gray to maybe something that pops more like a red. So, in most themes in Shopify, you should have an option to do this.
So, let's open up our online store, go to our themes. We're using the debut theme. Again, this is a very common option.
So, it should be here for most of you. Now, we're going to want to scroll down to theme settings, select colors, and we should try to find something under a text section.
It says sale price, and now let's get this to be a nice red. Okay. And now let's go over to our catalog and make sure that it works.
And then we have our sale price is now this nice red. We can make it blue if we want, and then you're going to hit save, and you are good to go.

How Do I Disable The Right-click Button On Images?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we're answering today is how do I disable the right-click button on images?
All right. This is a really easy fix with a free app. We're going to go to our apps here and select visit the Shopify app store.
When this logs in, we're going to type in cozy Antifa. There’re a few options here. I like this one. Find a cozy antitheft that has great reviews.
It's free. I'm going to click add app and it should work right off the bat. Okay. And here's how these are the options we have.
So, we can change what gets prevented from being right-clicked on. Okay. So if we just want to do images, we can just, de-select everything else here on desktop and mobile and hit save, And then no one will be able to right.
Click on your images anymore on your site. And you can do that with any of these other things. You can completely disable it, right.
Click or disable, right? Copying texts, anything you want.

How Do I Have All The Items On The Home Page?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps help, where we try to answer your questions. And under two to three minutes, and today we are going to talk about how you can get all of your products to appear on your homepage?
So this is a pretty simple process. So, what you're going to want to do is go over to the online store in your Shopify account.
It's going to automatically take you to themes, and I'm going to use this store as an example, and I'm just going to go to customize.
And once I'm in customized, we're going to have the option to pull up and pretty much every item in the store that you would want to.
So, here's an example. I'm going to go to the ad section. And once I'm in here, I'm going to add a collection list.
Excuse me, I'm going to add actually a featured collection is what I meant to say. And, for different themes, it will the featured collection will pop in differently depending on how the theme is coded.
And in this example, the way that it looks is going to simply be the way it looks due to this particular theme, but most themes are going to have the same functionality where you have four across the top.
And depending on how many items are in each collection, you will, you know, if you want it to have a 12 show up or eight shows up you will be able to do that when you select them for that collection.
So first you're going to want to make sure you have all of your products uploaded to your site in collection format.
And then you can add the featured collection option in Shopify, select that for your homepage and have that be as long as you want it to be.
And let's say we select it here and you'll see here that all of the products are appearing on the site and you can continue that for as many products as you need.

How Do I Correctly Synchronize And Analyze Statistics From Facebook Ad Manager And Shopify Application?

Hi there. Welcome to the Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions and under two minutes, the question going to answer today is how do I correctly synchronize and analyze statistics from my Facebook ads manager and my Shopify application?
So today I'm going to show you the two most important tabs when it comes to analyzing our statistics for both and making sure they're synchronized, keep in mind that there is a 24 hour wait period between the two dashboards.
Okay. So it's not going to be exactly correct. Until you wait about a day. So once the day is over, then I would go back a day and check, but make sure it is a full 24 hours.
Now the first tab you're going to want to go into is your dashboard on Shopify. So go ahead and log into your Shopify store, go to analytics and go to dashboards.
And here you'll be able to see the overview of your dashboard for any given time period, right? Usually, it starts with today.
However, you can change today and do any time range that you would like. So go here and see what the statistics are like go to another tab and you're going to open up something in your business manager for Facebook called events manager.
Now you can access this by going to the settings of your Facebook ads account and going into data sources, okay.
Data sources, pixels, and then open events manager. Now in here, you're going to be able to see all of the events down below for your website, and you'll be able to take the events that are here and match them to the events that are on your overview dashboard.
Okay? So like add the cards you can see here, then you can go to events and say, okay, how many add the cards, how many purchases?

How Do I Track Commission Amounts And Orders For Products Sold From A Supplier In My Shopify Store?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps, help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we're answering today is how do I attract commission amounts and orders for products sold from a supplier in my store?
So if you want to track orders from a supplier or an affiliate, say they're getting a 20% cut of every order that they send to you.
Shopify doesn't have this functionality built-in. There's something we can do. What we can do is we can create a discount code that we'll give to the affiliate and they can tell their customers or their following, Hey, use this discount code to save 10% off.
And then you can track the number of orders that the discounted discount code gets. If you need something more sophisticated, you can find an affiliate marketing app on the Shopify app store.
There's a lot of good options. So let's walk you through the discount set up though, as this is free and will apply to most people's cases.
So let's go to discounts and we're just going to create a discount. Okay. And co discount code and we can call it.
Let's say our influencer is named Freddy and it gives 10% off. So we, no, we're just going to write, give it a name and we're going to set up the discount code, how we want if we need it.
Let's say it's only for the sunglasses that we sell. Okay. That's the only thing he should be promoting. And it's the only thing we've agreed to give him permission to, and we can set this.
This is all good. We're going to hit the save discount code. Okay. And then when you want to when it's time to give Freddy his commission, what you can do is you can come here.
We just go to discounts. We're going to collect on the, we're going to click on the code and you're going to click this view, the sales buy discount report.
Now we don't have any sales there cause we just made it. But if we go back to another code, this one, I'll just show you what it looks like.
Okay. We might need a custom date range. And there we go. This will give us all of our sales, right for this discount code.
And we can even export it to a CSV. And then if we need to do any calculations in Excel or Google sheets, that'll be super easy.
