As we can see here, we have a demo homestead website up. This is going to be our general homestead account.
You're gonna want to make sure that you're in your website manager. And from there, you're going to go ahead and click on the edit site.
Now while that's loading, make sure that you have your Google tag manager account up because we're going to need these scripts.
If you're unfamiliar with how to get them. When you log into your account, you're going to just click on your unique ID.
They'll pop up right here for you and clicking these little buttons on the side will actually automatically copy the code for us as well.
So we're going to copy this head script, and then we're going to head back to our editor screen. So now back at the homestead editor, we can click on manage and then we can click on advanced and this will populate, uh, an area for us to actually install our scripts.
So you can see here, it says the page meta-tags will be added to the page head element, which is exactly where it tag manager has told us to add this.
So we just go ahead and paste in what we had copied earlier. The same thing with this body tag, click that copy button, come over here and then paste it right on in there.
After that, we can go ahead and click save. And then after saving, you can just go ahead and publish that once you publish this to your website, you'll be able to see that Google tag manager is now appropriately firing well, I hope that this helped you get Google tag manager installed on your homestead website.

How Do I Install A New Theme In Wordpress?

Hi, welcome to Hopps help, or we answer questions in two minutes. So, so this question is how do I install a new theme in WordPress?
So, one option is to use the WP admins and appearance themes section and just hit, add new then search for the theme that you're trying to try to locate.
Now there are some popular themes here you might want to type in author. For what site, I'll say, author, suite, and you get stuff for books, you could also do commerce, just whatever topic your site is focusing on, and that's what you want to search for in themes.
Okay. So that's one option. Another option is to purchase one online and upload the theme. No, sometimes things will include graphic design templates and the fonts that they used in those, some extra documentation, things of that nature, make sure that when you're uploading it, you're only uploading the theme's archive.
So, the themes, zip file, and yeah, the Same firewall will be smaller than the, part with the documentation and stuff like that.
So, if you're seeing something that's, I don't know, let's say a hundred megs, large chances are, that's not your theme right here.
The theme is going to be smaller than that. So, you're looking at something it's, I don't know, maybe five megs or something like that for a theme file.
So that's a good way, to see if it is going to be the theme file or not. Now you could also just go and open the archive and see if it contains a bunch of PHP files and stuff.
And that's another way to look at it. I don't want this to get too complicated. The themes will teach you how to install their theme.

How Do I Set Up Different Daily Budgets For Facebook Ads?

Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answers the questions in two minutes. The question for today is how do I set up a schedule for different daily budgets for different days of the week for Facebook ads and what would be the effect of my campaign? for what they're asking here essentially is they have these three assets, for example, as you can see, your kind of already built it out where I have money through Wednesday for this first ad set Thursday through Friday for a second asset, and then the weekend for the third ad set.
So essentially what they're asking here is that we had three different assets. How do I turn them on and turn them off throughout the week, paying on what days I want them to run alongside a $5 budget a day?
So, to start off with this question, it's a two-part question, but I'm gonna try to answer it in one video.
So, the first thing is that you want to make sure that you are on that $5 a day. So, make sure that you are not running a CDO strategy as this will throw off your whole entire daily spend now to make sure that you're spending $5 a day per ad set.
For example, go ahead and go to the, go to your ad set level, scroll down to budget and schedule and make sure that this is $5.
And also, if you wanna send an end date as well, then you can too. So now to make it turn on and turn off at different times of the week will not be on any of the campaign assets or even the ad level.
It'll actually be, what's called a rule. As you see right here, it's a rule. So now a rule essentially is a rule telling Facebook ads what to do.
So for this example, I'm going to stick with this Monday through Wednesday, ad set, and support to have it checked off that way.
It's easier for you to keep track of what you're doing. So, for example, I have money though, was it checked off?
As you can see here, apply the rule to one asset that is checked off here. So, my rule name will be Monday through Wednesday for this, for this example.
Now my action is, for example, I want to have it turned on Monday through Wednesday. So, my action will be turned on asset condition.
Think of this as a trigger. I don't need any triggers for this one because I'm not trying to have notify me or do an action based on certain audit results I get.
So, I'm going to go and just cancel this off. Since all I'm doing is just a timing rule, not a condition rule.
I'm going to go down to schedule and go to custom. Now here's where you can go ahead and create this rule to turn all your assets on are the ones that you want to have turned on.
So here I'm going to have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 12 to 12. So now I know that for this action, isn't turned on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and then it can also notify me if I like it or anyone else, I want to make sure to get notified as well.
So from your oppressor, create now make sure that you're not done here because now what you're telling Facebook to do that you have turned it on, but now you have to turn it off, right?
So that also has to be a whole other rule you have to create by doing the same thing, going to create a new rule.
But this time you'll go to turn it off that set on the days that you do not want to be running.

How Do I Select Which Photo Is The Main Photo Associated With A Product That Has Variants?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps. And today we're going to talk about how to use your photos within your variants and have different products display for your variants and on your particular product page as well.
So, to answer this question, it's kind of more so about going straight to the product itself. So, let's go to, let's choose a product within this Shopify site, and we're going to go to the different spots within the photo section.
So, it's pretty easy. What you're going to want to do is you can drag and drop the photos around in order.
And when you do this, this is going to help you identify which product is going to show up first, when it's seen the, on the product page.
So, in this case, the big one is going to be the one that you will be seeing first. Okay, now what's cool about this is when you select variants, you will then be able to have the photos be designated per variant.
So how you do that, you just, you just simply click on that product that you want and then select the image you would like for it to be displayed as.
So, for example, if I did this boom, that just changes it to that particular image. So that means that when someone is on the website and selects their different variants, once they change the variant to a certain product, the image will then change with it.
This is also dependent on the theme, but you will see here how this theme in particular moves to the particular image.
Okay. So, if I were to choose black, you can see how it moves down to the black image. Now, if I were using a different theme that doesn't have this kind of side-by-side structure of their product page, what would happen is if I chose a sandstone, it would just flip the image to that particular product.
But all of that is done within the product section. First, you want to upload your products, select whichever product you would like to be like for it to be the main product image.
And then after that, you can then create your variance and then select the variant photo by clicking on the photo section to add that photo.

So what you can do here is replaced your Facebook catalog by deleting the old Facebook shop clicking, add a sales channel, and connecting your new catalog.
That would be the best way to connect your new catalog to the Facebook shop. Just make sure to delete the old one.

In this example, we're talking about the real estate industry to go ahead and click here and type in real estate. Hey, look at that almost half a billion people interested in real estate.
So go ahead and click it. And it's really that easy, right? So it's an effective strategy. I know it seems silly.
I know it seems short, but it works right. And this stuff, there's no reason to over-complicate it. If you want to get somebody in the real estate industry to put real estate in their Badda Bing, Badda, boom, make sure your message is clear.
Make sure your whole, everything is congruent and it will be as effective as it possibly can be. Right? And there are so many other things, while we have some time in this video for this, there are so many different interests.

So one of the most popular themes out there is a Vata and popularity in a theme is extremely important. I'm going to show you how many sales they made on here.
I'm on themeforest.net, by the way. And as long as they still allow you to view that stuff, that I will show you that if for some reason that's not,  it's up here.
No. Okay. Here it is. So over half a million sales and that's how many people have purchased the license to use this thing?
The number of comments on it as well is 35 and a half thousand comments readings. Over 24,000 ratings. It's got an excellent score for, uh, how many people have rated it.
It's almost five stars all over 24,000 ratings. That's good. And it's very, very good. Now, why is all this stuff important?
All of that stuff is important because if you don't have the popularity, you're not going to be incentivized to keep up with your theme.
That means it might not work with the newest WordPress. If it's not popular, it might wind up being so bug-ridden that people just get use to it.
It might have so many security breaches that your site is getting hacked through this theme, things of that nature. So you don't want to do those things.
You want somebody who's going to be actively keeping up with the theme is going to be incentivized because people are actually using the product incentivize because it's a, it's a paid product as well.
Of course, and people are using it. It's paid product. That value is going to seriously go in and make them excited to keep going with the project.
So those are the things that you're going to look at aside from what your theme can actually do, do that you need to do so with having, and by the way, this is an Avaya 7.3.
That's a far cry from 1.0, so they've been updating it, you know, updating and updating and update. And this isn't the only popular theme either.

How Can I Set Up Effective Retargeting Ads?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in under two minutes. The customer going to answer today is how can I set up effective retargeting ads on Facebook?
So today we're going to talk about custom audiences and how we can create custom audiences to make some very stellar retargeting ads.
So the first thing I'm going to want to do is to create a new ad and to do that, you're going to go to business.facebook.com, go over to the left, where it says business tools and click on ads manager.
Once you do that, you're going to see a screen that looks just like this. It's going to be your ads manager, go ahead and create a new ad.
All right. And we're going to do a conversion ad, for the retargeting ads. Now, depending on your goals, it could be different.
And, but in most cases, and for my e-commerce stores, I like to just go ahead and stick with conversions. So once you go through this screen, go ahead and set up the campaign section.
But the most important section is going to be the ad set section because once you scroll down to the audience, okay, you're going to see a custom audience.
Now, what is a custom audience? It custom audience is an audience or group of people that have done certain interactions with your Facebook ads or your website.
So you can target people that have one on your website for 30 seconds. You won't go on people. You can target people that have gone on your website.
Within the past week. You can target people that have engaged with your Facebook page, right? So what you're going to want to do is click on, create new, go to a custom audience.
And I highly recommend you all going through some of these sections to learn about the different audiences that you can create.
One of the more popular ones that I personally like to create is for the website. So I go to a website and you can target people that have visited your website in the past week, right?
You put the seven days and you can do a seven-day retargeting ad. It's very simple, right? And create the ad.
Once you do that, make sure you add it to the custom audience section. So once you click the custom audience, it will be down below.
Okay. Another one you could do, just go back to the custom audience is I like to do a Facebook page. So over here on the right, and you can do anybody who engages with your page, but you can also do anybody who engages with your posts.
Now, this is generally going to be a much bigger audience. So this one right here is very awesome. And I like to do this on sometimes a week to a two-week basis.

How Do I Maintain My Google Analytics Tracking When I Change To A New Theme?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we're answering today is how do I maintain my Google Analytics tracking when I changed to a new theme?
So, this should happen automatically. When you, when you change to a new theme in Shopify, but there are instances where it may not happen.
For example, if you had your Google tracking ID, hard-coded into the theme, you'll lose it when you publish to a new one.
So, let's just run through real quick, how to do this. So first we want to go to an online store and the themes, and I'm just going to publish a new theme.
So let's say I have a turbo and I have my Google analytics. Hard-coded into turbo. I'm going to, and I want to change to the artisan.
I'm going to go down to actions, publish, publish, and then we have our new theme published and now our Google analytics isn't tracking anything.
And we really need to get that data. All we need to do is go to online store preferences. And if we scroll down, we have our Google analytics right here, and this is Shopify as a new way of implementing it.
And it's super easy. So, all we need to do is get our universal account number and plug that in here.
I already have plugged in. If I go to change, I can edit it. So, let's hop over to Google analytics or on a Google analytics home.
Make sure you have the right website selected, go down to admin Tracking info right here and tracking code. And now here's your tracking ID.
And so, all we need to do is copy this and go back up to Shopify and paste this in here.
Okay. All right. So, all I'm doing is I'm pasting this tracking code in here and you hit save and your Google analytics should be working.

What Is The Best Strategy To Start With Facebook Ads?

Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where try to answer commonly asked questions in under two minutes. The question we're going to answer today is what is the best strategy to start with Facebook ads?
Now the best strategy, very subjective, right? Again, the word best. It's quite difficult to find what the best would be, but I'm going to show you a simple strategy because here at Hopps, we're all about simplicity, right?
And so that's what I'd like to show you today. So before you look at this graph, take a look at the text at the bottom left.
So here are some key things you should have on your ads before you run them. Okay. And if you need help setting up Facebook ads, we have professionals here hops that can help you out.
One-on-one and we also have our under two-minute videos as well. So let's begin. The first thing here is to make sure the pixel is connected to the website.
Very important. If your pixel is not connected to your website, you can't track events, right? This is very important for optimizing your ads, always use detailed targeting options within your ads is very important.
So if you sell fishing equipment, put fishing, right. Very simple stuff. Try not to leave that out. It's, it's just way more targeted and there's no point in going so broad.
I, I think in my opinion, and also start slow and test the waters. So go slow. Don't put a whole lot out there in the beginning, focus your pitch and your message more direct right.
On one thing. Okay. So now that we got that out of the way, now pay attention to the graph. So you're going to have your Facebook ad, right?
And you're going to send your Facebook ad like your links that you're going to send people to. You're going to send them to your, either your sales page, your opt-in page.
Now it depends on the business, right? So e-commerce sales page lead-based business opt-in page. Once you do that, they're literally going to purchase, or they're literally in the capture lead.
Now you can do retargeting and things can be way more specific in this video can go on forever. But for the purpose of trying to keep everything condensed, this is a very simple strategy.
Okay. Facebook ads to the sales page, to the opt-in page to capture the lead or capture the purchase. Very, very, very simple stuff.

How Do I Automatically Insert Tracking Numbers In Shopify?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps and we're going to briefly talk about adding tracking numbers to your Shopify store. So to answer your question directly, no, there is not a way to automatically add tracking numbers to your Shopify store.
You have to do it manually. You have to have somebody do it manually. However, there is a solution coming soon for that.
So what's happening here is when you have an order, come in, I'm sure you probably know this by now, but you'll have your orders.
You'll go to your orders and you will simply go to set order. And if it's a FedEx tracking number ups, USP S the market's fulfilled, and then you will place for tracking number here.
And it will, if it's USP as FedEx ups, it'll automatically, you know, switch over to the, to that perspective. One, be sure to select this button so that the customer gets the automated fulfilled email with the tracking number and in place.
So yes, there is no way to automatically do this. You have to do it manually. However, there is a solution coming.
It is called unify and unify is it's going to be an all-inclusive place for people who are running online stores more specifically for people who are doing online retail, and you'll, you'll be able to do many, many different things with unifying, but the coolest thing you'll be able to do with you, if I, as eventually, what you can do is you can put your connectivity to whomever you are sourcing your products from, have them build a unified profile for free.
Everyone who does sourcing manufacturing has a free notify, a profile. And what can happen is when you receive your order, your Shopify account will ping, unify all the order information.
You can log into unifying, click one button, and it will send all the order information to your respective manufacturer or source whomever to receive that order information.
And when they received the, have their tracking number ready, all they have to do is simply put the tracking number into unifying, and it will then ping that tracking number into Shopify, and automatically you'll have the option to automatically let all tracking numbers, ping the Shopify and go straight to your customer without you having to log in and manually copy and paste them and, or miss emails in any of that.

What Is The Detailed Guidance Expansion And What Is The Best Time To Use It When Creating A New Campaign?

Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is what is a detailed guidance extension and what is the best time to use it when creating a new campaign?
So, let's say I'm going to create a new campaign. I'll use this one for example right now, but let's say I'm creating this brand new one.
I'm going to pick the objective I want to do; does it really matter if this one is it's gonna depend on what your goal is for this campaign?
From there, I'll hit on the asset level, scroll down to audience right here. Okay. So now here is where the question is asking, right?
So for this example, I'm going to pretend that I am targeting people who like Coca-Cola right. Let's just say that I'm trying to sell soda and I want to target everyone who likes Coca-Cola.
So I'm going to go to detailed targeting and type in Coca-Cola, as you can see here, people who are interested in, in Coca-Cola or the company, but obviously Coca-Cola right here.
We're looking at 8.5 million people who like Coca-Cola in the United States. Okay. So now you can see here with a question asking, reach people beyond your detail, targeting selections when it's likely to improve your performance.
So what does this mean is that if I click on this, you'll see this number right here on the right?
We'll jump up drastically. Now we're at 220 million people, a big difference from eight and a half million people. Right? So now, if I were to turn this on, I'm telling you basically, essentially the target people who like Coca-Cola, but also might like Pepsi might also might like any of these found drinks because they think that will, this person likes Coca-Cola they're like Coca-Cola syrup or they're like red bull.
And so that is, that is why it jumps up. So drastically. Now the other part of the question is what is the best time to use it when creating a new campaign?
Great question. Let me go back to the campaign level. Okay. So I would go ahead and use these detailed targets mentioned if I am in the testing mode, I say it very loosely because this number right here, I would never target with.
If I, if I can help it, I would always try to go more narrow. Because at that point I'm going to bring in traffic that I don't want, if I'm solely Solon Coca-Cola I don't want to have this on because I don't want extra stuff there on the website where it's costing me money.
So I wouldn't really focus on always using this. Unless you think that your audience is broad enough that your product or service is so broad, that it will hit multiple audiences that are similar, but more likely than not.
You're spending a lot of money on wasted traffic, where if you were just to nail it down a little bit more, so let's say Coca-Cola select here and you go to you uncheck this, go to a narrow audience, and you can even say something like soda, keep a little broader and let's see what that changes it to if it's okay.
Perfect soda. So, a lot less. Now let's say I click on this. You'll see a jump up to a lot more people, right?
So much more, much more broad. And another one was much more niche. So, it all depends on what works for you, but I hope that helps.

How Do I Set Up Better Quality Ads?

Hi, this is Theo from Hopps, and we are going to talk about how to build a very good and, cohesive Google ads system.
This actually really can turn into a 30-minute video if you really want to break it down, but I'm going to try to briefly explain a system that I use and, kind of go from there.
So, um, what I do here, what I have here is, a three-tier shopping ad system and a retargeting campaign.
Okay. Or remarketing, however you want to word it. And the reason why I have a three-tier system is that I'm running a retail store.
And, because I'm running an online retail store and I have manufacturers who might already have a presence out there both physically and, online, kind of a rapport with the people who might be buying those types of products.
What I'm going to do is I'm going to use a filtration system in my Google ads and my shopping campaign, excuse me, specifically so that I can, pay for the best search terms for the products that I'm selling.
So to give you an example,  I could go to my high priority campaign, high priority is referring to the settings for this campaign tier meaning I'm going into settings right now.
It means that the algorithm for Google is running at a campaign priority, speed of high. Okay. So when you set up these campaigns, you have the option at the very beginning of the setup process to have the campaign, have the shopping campaign algorithm run at a high, medium, or low speed.
All right. So what I'm doing right now is I am having my high-priority campaign collect generic search terms. So for example, the primary item on this particular store sells, um, high ticket saunas.
Okay. So if I go into the actual campaign, I have each ad group, one of the campaigns at the different brands that are carried for this particular store.
So now that I'm in this campaign tier, I'm going to go to the keywords and I'm going to go to the search terms.
And what I want to see is generic search terms, and here are some examples, sauna, Beryl, I'm just going to take it, but the subtle ones and barrel saunas, uh, around the sauna, right?
Cedar sauna, all of these search terms are very generic. They're just referring to a sauna or a type of sauna or the shape of a sauna right now in my next tier, that is where I would like to see brand names, brand names.
So in this case, what I would, what I ideally want to see is the name of the brand in this case would be Alico product sauna.
Okay. So it would be, it would be, uh, the search term ideally would be Alico Beryl saunas, and, um, that those types of search terms I would want to see in my medium campaign.
Okay. And then in my low priority campaign, I would like to see even more specific. So like Alico skew number or product number sauna and the search terms there.
And what I do as I run this is I have my high priority at a lower cost per click. So let's just say 10 cents.
And my medium priority would be at say 30 cents. And my low priority would be at a, say, 50 cents right now.
The reason why I have those differences is that I do want to pay a little bit more for the very, very specific search terms, because those search terms are written into Google, by people who are very likely to make their purchase happen.
So, therefore, I want to pay a little bit more, but I don't want the algorithm to go crazy running at a high speed.
Cause then I, my 50 cents could multiply into hundreds of clicks, and then I'm blowing my budget out. So I label it, label my setting that low priority.
However, I'm optimizing my clicks to pay for the best search term. Now, the best way to optimize your search terms is to go into each campaign on a regular basis, probably on a weekly basis or an every other day basis, depending on how many clicks you're getting you to go into your search firms in your campaign, and you're going to want to exclude any search term that doesn't belong.
So in this case today, everything you see here for that has come into the system today. These are all very generic search terms, and I'd ideally don't want them to show up in my, um, medium CA medium priority campaign tier, which is where I want to see my brand names.
So since these are very generic search terms, I'm going to, um, grab these search terms, select the campaign, sorry, I'm going to grab these search terms, add as a negative keyword as you saw, and then select a campaign.
And this is me telling the algorithm now that I want to make sure that these types of search terms stay in the high priority slash generic campaign tier, and then so on and so forth.
You also want to make sure that you have, have a negative keyword list attached to you that's got to just, you can ignore all those crazy negative keyword lists.
I have a general negative keyword list here that has a bunch of terms and words that I don't want at all to be, um, used, and search terms.
I don't want to pay for a search like this. Um, so this is a really good way. And again, I could go on for 30 minutes more in-depth about this, but when you have these types of, shopping campaigns going with a negative keyword list and also optimizing your search terms and filtering out those search terms, that is how you're going to set up a really robust and targeted,  campaign for, shopping campaigns.
Now, the couple that I also have a retargeting campaign, and this is technically it's called a display ad. And this ad is going out to all visitors who have previously been to my site.
They will get re-targeted via YouTube or get followed around a big one like a news article or show up in it.
Also show up in, Gmail. These retargeting campaigns are very, very powerful. So anyone who's been fish netted in from my shopping campaigns will now get re-targeted with an ad, and showing an image or a video of my products,  with a little message here.
And, you'll be able to here's an, here's kind of an example. Here are, some of the photo assets that I have.
And so what, what this is doing is it's creating a system in which, the Google ads are all working in conjunction to target certain people.
They can get clicks. If you have the right cost per click, you will be able to have any, if you have the right cost per click and the right negative keyword lists, and the right search term optimization, I'll write it together.
You'll find your target market or excuse me, your target market will find you. And you'll be able to also crush your competition by putting them, putting the names of your competitors into your negative keyword list.
And you'll be able to make a very, um, sound and quality Google ad system. You can also create what's called a text ad as well.
I'm not going to get into that now. But text ads can be helpful if you are a new brand.

How Do I Retarget An Email List?

Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is how to retarget an email list?
So we start here in the audience section, you'll get here by going to business tools and then go, and audiences.
So go ahead and go to create audience custom audience, and then go to the customer list. So Facebook will go ahead and have you downloaded a template file if you need it.
So let's say that you have a CSV file, like our base basic Excel spreadsheet of email phone, and all like this stuff.
So you'll go ahead and download the template and it looks something like this where we have the email phone, first name, last name, all that good stuff.
The important one to keep in mind here is the value. Uh, that what value is essentially is I, Elizabeth Olsen Olsen, for example, spent $20 maybe on a t-shirt where as opposed to Andrew who spent $1,300 on a different product.
Right? So that's the value of that customer, which can be used for deeper retargeting to look like audiences, whatever. So from here, you'll go ahead and upload it.
So you'll press next. Now it'll ask you if you have a customer, so a customer value. Yes. So yes we do.
We'll check this. All right, we'll go ahead and upload the CSV file. So we'll go to value and then that's the name of the file, right?
And then we'll go ahead and just make sure that all the columns match up that this is zip city. It all makes sense.
So it's very important that on this one, when you have this ready to go, that all your headers match exactly what Facebook has.
Cause it'll be a pain to kind of go back and try to fix it. If it doesn't match. So always best to kind of keep it there and essentially you'll press important create, and then you'll go ahead and upload it from, from there.
