So contact form seven is one of the most popular contact forms out there. And I went ahead and installed that in the installed plugins.
I can hit settings and contact form. This is the default contact form. So if we click into that, we'll see that you can change the data that you're trying to collect from the end-user, the email data that's going to be sent to you as the admin.
So the two from the subject message body, et cetera. Now go ahead and copy the shortcode here and we'll go to pages.
Now, I already tested this on a page called a contact form. So I'm just going to click on that. Go ahead and create a new page.
If you don't already have a contact form page and the way that I got the shortcode box, there is just this just simply click shortcode.

So, unfortunately, with the default theme on WordPress, it's not possible to customize this page, but the good news is that most themes that you install will allow you to customize that page in some respect.
So, for instance, you'll be able to set a menu. That'll allow you to display certain items that you want and want people to see when you're there on your four Oh four-page and that'll help them get back on track in order to install a theme, you want to go to themes, add new, and you can either select one here, or you can locate one online and upload the theme that way.

How Do I Set Up Access To A Page Of My Site Through A Password With Specific Features?

So, you have, this page that has your specific features. Let's say that you have an account area page, maybe a dashboard or something of that nature, and you want to go and lock it down.
So, in order to do that, you go to this page tab right here, and then visibility is public. We want to go make that password-protected, and then you can just type in a super-secure password, and please do not use super secure.
All right. So, we'll update that, update the page. Okay. And then for me, I'm just going to copy this permalink, just we're staying in the same tab.
So let me do that and I'll pick it up here and we're on this page. Okay. Now we can't see the texts that we wrote on here.
These are protected short content pages that can see the title, but they can't see the content of it. So, we need to type in super-secure just because that's the password.
We chose a terrible password by the way. But now we see the past and we see the content of it. And by the way, this protected colon is part of the theme that I'm using.
It's just a default WordPress theme. Your theme probably isn't going to look as strange as this one did. So that's how you just, add the password anyway, whether it's this theme or any other theme.

So, for this, you don't need a full-blown membership system. Although you could use one and you just need some kind of content control.
So, this content control plugin works perfectly for what we need. I've already installed it and activated it. So, for this one, we're going to go to settings, content control, and we'll add a restriction.
Now we want to have it be logged in users. So this is just general. You can leave this blank for all the, all the different roles and everything like that so that anybody who's logged in will be able to do that.
And then we go to protection. You can choose to redirect it or enter a custom message if they aren't well logged in, in this case, where will they be taken?
If they're redirected homepage, custom URL login and back, et cetera. And then you also have content. So what content are we trying to protect here?
So, let's do a selected there's selected post, and there's also a selected page, so we can restrict access to a short content page, and we must be a logged-in user And We'll be redirected to the login screen.
And then back if we choose that, so let's just go ahead and do that. Okay. So now, oh, and we didn't enter a redirection title, so I'll just say tusk, just so we have something in that box.
Okay. All right. So now I'm going to log out or actually first, I'm going to go to that page that we were on.
We restricted this one. So, we'll go ahead and view this page. And now we're there. We can see it. We can log out, try to view it again, short content.

So, pretend this page that we're editing right now in WordPress is not on WordPress. So, we're actually editing the code.
How do we do that? Well, let's get rid of these paragraphs just so it's a little bit cleaner, easier to understand what's going on here.
Okay. So, we have an anchor tag and then we have this URL. This URL is where you want people to wind up when they click that, that link,, however, the H ref equals that is called the tag.
That's the opening tag portion. This is the ending take portion. Okay. And then we have a WordPress site. That's just the text.
That's going to show up when we try to when we create this link. So, nobody's going to see this part.
This is code, they'll see this WordPress site as the text with an underline under it so they can click it.
Okay. So, let's go ahead and view that on the same page. Copy this link address. Ignore them. Now we're just using the same thing anyway.
So, so leave that. Don't see the changes. Okay. So, we are here, this WordPress site, that's the link we just created.

So, if we go to our homepage for word press, we just see a list of blogs, blog posts, I should say.
So, in order to do that, change it, we go to settings and reading, and then we have your latest posts or a static page.
Let's change it to a sample page just because we can let's save that. Yeah. If we go to our homepage, we see the sample pages, our homepage, we'll be back again and change this to let's say, login, save that, go to Hopps, help.

How Do I Display User Posts In A Grid Instead Of A Single Feed?

Hi, welcome to Hopps helps where we answer questions in two minutes. Today's question is how are, how do I display user posts in a grid instead of a single feed?
So, to do that one option is to use a plugin such as a post grader, content views, post grid, something of that nature, whichever one looks the best to you and does what you need to do.
However, keep in mind that that feature, that functionality is often handled by your theme. So, if your theme supports building a grid, instead of for posts, instead of using a, like a content feed where it's just, for instance, this is a feed here, another post, hello world, that's a feed.
So, but the plugins on here we'll create a grid out of it. And so can most themes. So check to make sure that your theme has that feature first.
If it doesn't then install a plugin that way, then you're not loading your site with extra plugins for features you already have and winding up slowing down your site.

How Can I Setup An Authorized Page With Some Content Without A Back-end?

Hi, welcome to the Hopps help where we answer questions in two minutes. Today's question is how do I make a page for a customer to have access to a list of PDF files in a short text, no backend, no password change, nothing?
So just a straight-up page that may or may not be linked to you on your site. If you want to link to it in the menu, you can, that's done at appearance menus, but if you want it to be a confidential page where it's not in the menu, just don't add it to the menu.
Nobody will know what's there unless you link to it. Okay. So, then I added a PDF, a sample PDF file to the media library.
Then on pages, we have this PDF page that I created and I added file one. Now I want to go ahead and just view this page just before I start explaining things.
So let's copy the link address, paste that in. And now if I click on that, we see the PDF file.
It opens in the browser. And if you want that to open it in a new tab and mind you, they are able to download that through the browser, depending upon which one they're using.
Anyway. Now, if you want to have that open in a new tab, let's go to the edit page. The code that I wrote for this file one here is to create an anchor tag, notice that this is, this is the URL for our PDF file.
This is the first part of the tag. Then the text that we want to display on the screen, and then the end of our tech, which is the slash okay.
Now if we want that to open it in a new tab, we just do target equals underscore boy. Okay, we'll go ahead and update that.
Great. So, let's go to view the page, copy the link address, go to that page. And I click that and you can't see that it opened a new tab because I'm just filling this one tab, but it did open a new tab.

How Do I Edit / Customize The Title Bar?

So, the title bar is what you, there are two ways that you can think of it. The title bar, as in the text that goes in the tab or the title bar at the top of the screen here now customizing the actual title bar or the title, title text in the tab is done through actually in this theme.
It's the exact same way, basically. So Hopps help. We're just customizing. So that's why it's this customized helps help, but let's say that we have one Hopps up just so we have something different here.
Oh, see one Hopps help here. And you can't really see what's on my browser tab, but when I publish it and then go back, it does appear in the title tag as well.
And feel free to do this on your own too. Don't just take my word for it. So, if we go to settings, we also see that that one appears here as well.
Now, if you're talking about the part that appears at the top of the page, like every single page, that title bar you can let's just get rid of just so it will say another WordPress site.
So, we'll do that. And then we'll save this. Then we'll view that and it says another WordPress site. Now everything is different.
If yours has extra stuff in that bar that goes across this title bar, then your theme will dictate how that's customized.

What Aspects Should I Take Into Account Before Purchasing A Premium Theme?

Hi, welcome to Hopps help where we answer questions in two minutes. So today's question is what aspects should I take into account before purchasing a premium thing?
So one of the most popular themes out there is a Vata and popularity in a theme is extremely important. I'm going to show you how many sales they made on here.
I'm on themeforest.net, by the way. And as long as they still allow you to view that stuff, that I will show you that if for some reason that's not,  it's up here.
No. Okay. Here it is. So over half a million sales and that's how many people have purchased the license to use this thing?
The number of comments on it as well is 35 and a half thousand comments readings. Over 24,000 ratings. It's got an excellent score for, uh, how many people have rated it.
It's almost five stars all over 24,000 ratings. That's good. And it's very, very good. Now, why is all this stuff important?
All of that stuff is important because if you don't have the popularity, you're not going to be incentivized to keep up with your theme.
That means it might not work with the newest WordPress. If it's not popular, it might wind up being so bug-ridden that people just get use to it.
It might have so many security breaches that your site is getting hacked through this theme, things of that nature. So you don't want to do those things.
You want somebody who's going to be actively keeping up with the theme is going to be incentivized because people are actually using the product incentivize because it's a, it's a paid product as well.
Of course, and people are using it. It's paid product. That value is going to seriously go in and make them excited to keep going with the project.
So those are the things that you're going to look at aside from what your theme can actually do, do that you need to do so with having, and by the way, this is an Avaya 7.3.
That's a far cry from 1.0, so they've been updating it, you know, updating and updating and update. And this isn't the only popular theme either.
And by the way, I'm not getting any kickbacks or anything for, uh, showing you this one. There's also X the theme and whatnot as well.
And I just showed you this one, because I know this one's immensely popular and it's one of the most popular on their marketplace.
