Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions and under two minutes, the question we're gonna answer today is how do I get the store to set the correct tax depending on the customer's country?
So the first thing you're going to want to do is to go to your settings and your shopping. So go to the bottom left and you'll see a tab that says settings, click on that.
And then you'll see a tab that says taxes, go ahead and click on taxes. So in your taxes tab, you can actually set your taxes for States and four countries.
So for countries, you're going to see something that says rest of the world, go ahead and click it on the set up right there.
And it was like country talks, go ahead and put in the country tax that you would like, you can put in any tax that you gotta put in the tax that's appropriate for the countries, right?
But you can put in any tax that you would like here in-country tax now, and States you can also go to manage and you can add in sales tax for separate countries.
I mean, I'm separate, I'm sorry, separate States, right. And go ahead and put in each state and do it that way as well.
So the tax setting in Shopify is going to be the best way to set up the correct tax, depending on the customer's country.
You can set taxes for States as well as set taxes for countries and set taxes for anything else that you could think of.
