Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is how do I know I should stop running one of my Facebook ads?
So, this is a great question. And my answer is it has to be data and results-driven. That is the only way I would, I would recommend you turn off an ad.
And that is also only if you have not gotten a lead or sale or whatever your objective is. Like if you're trying to build traffic or if you're trying to get a sale on a t-shirt or whatever it is, and you are not getting those results back after about three, maybe four days, I would say then yes, I would turn it off.
If, if you aren't satisfied with the results you're getting in that audience, probably isn't responding, to your ads. But now saying that I want to go ahead and touch on this hypothetical campaign that I ran.
Now, if I were to run this campaign, or if I, since I ran this campaign, hypothetically and I noticed that my ad won.
So, in ad set, number three, my ad one didn't do so well. For example, now I have a choice to turn it off, of course, and let the other two runs, or what I can do is I can turn it off and then duplicate it.
So then, cause maybe this ad isn't working because of the headline, the primary text, or whatever the case may be.
So, I like to double-check my ads and maybe the primary text for example, is a problem here and change the primary text and then keep it running to see maybe if that if the audience I'm running that ad under will respond better to this headline or this primary text now.
So always double-check your work and then also make sure that whatever you do is always data-driven and be careful when, when you turn ads off, especially when your campaign is running, as it can also throw off your numbers too.
