Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in under two minutes. The question we're going to answer today is how do I prevent my pixel from being counterfeited by a competitor?
So in today's video, we are going to be talking about traffic permissions and how you can use Tropic permissions to help you.
If you're getting recordings of purchases that may not be yours, or if you feel like your pixel is getting spoofed.
So the first thing you're going to want to do is to go to business.facebook.com and go to your business settings. By going to the bottom left of your business ads manager, and go into business settings, then you're going to go ahead and go to data sources.
And you're going to go to pixels. Now in pixels, you're going to see your pixels off to the left, and you're going to want to get to the pixel that you have set up on your store.
Then click on open in events manager off to the right. Once you've arrived at this screen, you're going to see your pixel and all of the events that are available in front of you.
Then you're going to see something that says settings in the middle of the screen. Go ahead and click on settings.
And you're going to scroll down to what is called traffic permissions. Now you can go ahead and create a block list.
And what a block list will do is you can block certain URLs from being registered on your Facebook ads manager as events.
So you can block certain domains that you may feel are spoofing your pixel, uh, in any way, shape, or form, but you can also allow certain websites as well.
If you want to add more to your pixel. So I hope that helped if you need any additional help with Facebook ads, make sure to hop on https://app.hopps.io/session/create to work with a live expert today.
