Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions. And under two minutes, the question we're going to answer today is how do I reduce my CPP?
So your cost per purchase, what's the best way to do it. We're going to talk about Facebook setup and we're going to talk about landing pages or destination.
So set up and destination. So what do I mean by setup? Well, one of the more important things, when it comes to setting up your Facebook ads for effective cost per purchase is going to be a couple of things.
Obviously, your campaign objective is going to be number one. I can't give you too much, um, direction for this because I am really not sure what business you are running and what you're doing.
So do some research on your own end to figure out what works best for your business, but this will definitely affect your cost per purchase.
And I recommend you do some reading on your end. Another thing that's going to affect your cost per purchase is going to be your budget.
Now your budget needs to be something that's going to be optimal and you are in a bidding system. So keep that in mind.
Uh, I usually like to do a minimum of $50 to start when it comes to a budget, however, whatever your business is and whatever you're doing, just make sure that you're monitoring what you're spending and just make sure you do it within your own meat, right?
But the budget will definitely affect your cost per purchase. Now, another thing to keep in mind is your detailed targeting options.
Now, what is detailed targeting? Detailed targeting is a way for Facebook ads to narrow down your audience. So let's say you sell skateboarding products.
Let's go ahead and type in skateboard. Okay. So here is one interest that you could target. Now in another ad, you could target skateboarding and in another ad, you could target skateboarding tricks.
Why would you do that? Well, every interest is a different audience, right? So some audiences could work way better than other audiences.
And you're never going to know unless you target those audiences and do some testing. So that's one of the more important things when it comes to running effective Facebook targeting, right?
Very, very important. And so underestimated at the beginning of doing all this. Now, the last thing that I want to talk about is the destination, which is going to be your landing page.
Your landing page needs to be optimized for the audience that you're targeting. Knows exactly who they're going after with this landing page.
They're looking for people that drive that would like to drive the Uber that do other driving things. Maybe they're just looking to make their own money, right.
But they're very clear in their messaging and they know exactly what they're looking for. And so when you do your targeting and you do your destination, make sure your landing page is optimized for the audience that you're displaying it too.
