Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer questions in two minutes. The question for today is how do I successfully disable an Instagram account? Great question. So as you can see here we are on the desktop version of Instagram as this is the only method you can do, and you can not do this on a mobile application, like the Instagram app on your phone, for example, it all has to be done within your desktop version. Right? So with that being said, we'll go ahead and start off on your profile, on instagram.com. As you can see here, by going to your first by logging in and then going to profile here at the top, right? Once you're here, you'll see the edit profile button. You want to scroll down to temporarily disabled my account. As you can see, see here, they'll ask you why are you stealing your account? You'll go and answer whatever the reason it is, and then you'll enter your password. So how this works too, to keep in mind, once you disable your disable, your account, you have seven days until you can disable it again. So essentially saying tastes Friday. For example, I disabled it today. I logged back in on Sunday, right? Just two days later and I wanted to disable my account again on Wednesday. Right? I cannot do that. I have to wait about a week until I can do it again. And an Instagram will allow me to go ahead and do this process again. So I hope that helped.
