Hi there. Welcome to Hopps where we try to answer commonly asked questions in under two minutes. The question I'm going to answer today is how do I configure the purchase conversion value and the purchase event correctly?
So the first thing you're going to want to do is set up a Facebook pixel, but have it attached to your website.
Now, if you don't have a pixel attached to your website, we do have other videos on Hopps on how to do this, but for the purpose of this video, I'm going to show you where to go.
So you're going to go to business settings at the bottom, left data sources, and then pixels. And upon the top here, you're going to see a blue button that says, add, just go ahead and click on that add button and set up the prompt, sort of a pixel on your website that will help you set up the conversion value because the value will then be attached to your website.
Now, when it comes to setting up the event, what you're going to want to do is go to your ads manager, okay?
Creating a brand new Facebook ad, or if you already have one that edits the ad and you're going to go to the ad set section and under the ad set section, there's going to be a selection called conversion event, click on that.
And then you're just going to click on purchase, click purchase, and there you go. Your ads are all set up and ready for the purchase email.
