Hi there. Welcome to Hopps help where we try to answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question we're answering today is how to target ads, the people of different nationalities and countries of residence example if another nationality lives in the US? so you can't specifically target ethnicities or nationalities on Facebook, but I'm going to try to give you guys a little bit of a trick because this may help with the targeting.
Now, this isn't a one-to-one solution. This is just a workaround to this question. So, what you're going to do is hit create.
You're going to create a new campaign and select the campaign details that you want and click next at the bottom.
Right? Once you do that, it will take you to the ad set page, scroll down to the audience. We're going to go to detailed targeting.
Now, based on this question and a little bit of my own research I was able to discover that you could potentially target the ethnicity in the detailed targeting, and you may get the nationality or ethnicity that you're looking for, and that it doesn't matter which ethnicity you put in.
There is an option for that ethnicity in there, and that's basically it. So just type in the ethnicity in this targeting box that you would like try to look for similar groups to the ethnicity that you're looking for, nationality that you're looking for.
And just look for things that are relevant to that. And that will be your best way to do that now to target it within us or within a specific area.
Once you choose your interests and nationalities and ethnicities that you would like, you're going to scroll down, or I'm sorry, scroll up to locations and edit the locations that you would like.
And you can put in us, you can put anywhere you want just type in right here, location and put in all locations that you want.
So, you pick your locations, pick your ethnicity groups, and that is going to be the best way to target those ethnicities.
