Hey there. Welcome to Hopps help where we answer commonly asked questions in two minutes. The question for today is how to move Instagram from my ad placements without destroying the algorithm?
So this is a great question but this can be kind of set along with, let's say that you have an ad that you have running and maybe there's a typo or you want to change the headline because the other one's not working so well or are any change or edits you want to make to an already preexisting running ad.
Right? So what's the best process of how to do that. Um, so for this example, placements can be found in the ad set level.
And from here, you have to think of Facebook ads manager, and definitely like the pixel as a machine is always learning.
So the more data you feed it, the more it's going to learn and absorb and give you the information that you were looking for.
So for this example, how to remove Instagram from my ad placements, based on data that you have from the ads that you've been running, if Facebook optimizes against Instagram because let's say that you aren't performing well on Instagram and all your conversions are happening on Facebook, Facebook will automatically start showing it to more people on Facebook and not Instagram, even though you have it enabled.
So let's say I have Facebook, Instagram enabled, and Instagram is not doing so well. It'll put more of my money towards Facebook and Instagram.
That makes sense and vice versa. So I wouldn't always worry about it so much. Because Facebook is a machine and always learn, and its goal is always to give you the best results, right?
Cause they want to give you results that way you keep giving them your money. So I hope that helped if you need any one-on-one help with Facebook ads, just hop into https://app.hopps.io/session/create to work with a live expert today, have a great day.
